ART and ACOUSTICS : the perfect MIX

Acoustic textile wall art redefines aesthetics and functionality. Iconic and vibrant, these artworks are designed to enhance your office, conference room, commercial space, or any area of your home. Each shape in the design is hand-cut, sewn, and assembled in the Quebec City studio, then signed by the artist.
To maximize sound absorption efficiency, the fabric is backed with a high-performance acoustic wool to become an acoustic panels. This smart technical choice allows for a dual purpose: enriching the environment with a work of art while significantly reducing sound reverberation. The textile texture and composition of forms help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, the absorbing effect of the acoustic wool enhances auditory comfort, an invaluable asset in any space.

Marie Dooley Maison was founded by Marie herself in 2015, after working as a fashion designer under the Marie Dooley Signature label for over 25 years.

Marie Dooley has built a rich and inspiring career, driven by a deep passion for textiles. She worked in the fashion industry as a designer, leading her own couture house, Marie Dooley Signature, in Quebec City from 1993 to 2015. Her distinctive vision and expertise earned her a strong reputation for excellence within Quebec’s fashion scene.

Since 2015, Marie has redirected her love for fabrics toward the world of interior design, where she explores the endless possibilities of textile materials and forms. Her innate sense of aesthetics and mastery of sewing are reflected in her refined creations for the home.

In 2022, she launched her first collection of textile art panels, marking a pivotal moment in her artistic journey. Each piece is the result of a meticulous process: every shape of the design is cut, sewn, and assembled by hand on a wooden frame in her Quebec City studio, then signed by her.

Today, Marie Dooley continues to explore the intersection of art and functionality, proving that textiles can not only beautify a space, but also enhance the sensory experience of those who inhabit it. Her work, infused with sensitivity and craftsmanship, reveals the timeless beauty of textile as an artistic medium.
